The faculty of Pharmacy, University of Calabar has demoted all year 3 & 4 students back to year 2.
This demotion is sequel to the change in the faculty academic curriculum, from Pharm-D to Pharm-B in her quest for accreditation.
In this wise, those in higher classes (400L & 300L) have been directed start afresh from 200L with the new academic curriculum.
The Faculty of pharmacy has been in unical for 4 years now and is one of the youngest faculties alongside engineering,mass communication and Fine Arts. The faculty of pharmacy building had long been completed and the demotion is clearly due to Change in curriculum in quest for accreditation.
