The Elections of the Students Union government of the University of calabar scheduled to hold on the 31st of March 2020 has been postponed Indefinitely due to the wide spread of Coronavirus that has caused the lock down of schools across the country and they campus ground remains empty as the students have all left for their homes.
This year's set of SUG aspirants would have the longest campaign period ever in the history of the University of calabar as candidates were cleared on Monday the 23rd April by the calabar University Electoral commission (CUECO), this cleared candidates would have over one month to Campaign which would be mostly online.
This set of Excos may also be the longest sitting Excos as schools are not expected to be opened untill 6 weeks time.
