Ayade exempts Indigenous students of Crutech from fee payments


The governor of Cross River State senator Benedict Ayade has exempted indigenous students of the Cross River state university of technology from paying school fees in the state owned university. 

The Cross River State government made it known to the public on Wednesday 22nd October 2020 about the indefinite suspension of school fees payments for all Crutech students that are from Cross River state.

Crutech was founded in 2002 as a polytechnic under the governor Donald Duke administration and it was later made a full time university, the institution offers major courses in Engineering and other courses like accountancy, architecture, biochemistry etc. The institution has about 15,000  students and admits about 6,000 students yearly across Nigeria. 

Crutech has 4 campuses in Cross River State, Calabar, Ogoja, obubra and okuku
