The truth is that, there is no official information on UNICAL website/portal in regards to the above subject matter.

However, according to our source, the University of Calabar (UNICAL) post utme/ aptitude test exams will not be conducted this year.

In this regards, all 2020/2021 UTME/Direct entry candidates who choose UNICAL as their first choice of institution are strictly advised to remain calm as the institution has not begun the admission process for 2020/2021.

THE ANSWER IS NO. The University of Calabar (UNICAL) will not conduct Post utme Screening exam/aptitude test for 2020/2021 Academic session due to the concurrent increase in the Number of Covid-19 Cases in the country

Has UNICAL Started Giving Admission for 2020/2021 Candidates ?

NO. UNICAL application form 2020/2021 is still opened as at the time of writing this post ADMISSION has not commenced for 2020/2021 academic session yet

When Will UNICAL Start Giving Admission for 2020/2021 Academic Session?

FEBUARY/MARCH.

UNICAL will start giving admission some time after closure of entry application portal by the management of University of Calabar.

So, as soon the portal has been shutdown , UNICAL will start compiling their admission list as from that moment. also note that the new school session would be kick starting in august 2021 and spreading into 2022 so this newly admitted students would not resume untill then. 

1st batch admission list will come out first, followed by 2nd batch, then 3rd and 4th batch admission list (if any) before finally releasing supplementary admission list if and when the admission quota was not exceeded by the previously released admission lists.

What are the Requirement for UNICAL Admission 2020/2021 ?

The University of Calabar (UNICAL) admission for 2020/2021 Academic session will be based on JAMB SCORE while Olevel Result will be an added advantage which boost your chances of getting admitted. 

1. You must score at least 160 in jamb
2.You must have at least 5 credit in your O'level results

3.  You have to upload your O'level results on jamb caps before gaining admission

4. Unical must be your first choice 

5. Register for the screening (process for this would be announced later)
